While I appreciate the sun protective properties I prefer my day creams to not smell like sun screen. I have the most ridiculously sensitive skin, and have tried all number of pricey products that have resulted in red skin or a rash. Yet my face (and bank account) just loves Nivea products. I've always had oily but sensitive skin, and have used this for years. It's the only cream that seems to give my skin what it needs, and my makeup sits perfectly on it - I've used so many other face creams and my makeup just doesn't go on as well with them, or last as long. However my mistake for putting it on on really hot days my face was shining. It is a perfect year round cream for normal skin. It has the lightest texture despite containing SPF and absorbs super easily. Perfect makeup base because it doesn't make your face oily under foundation. It has a typical smell of Nivea cream which I find clean and non intrusive.
