I like that the beads do not disappear as you are working the product over your skin, but they are few and far in between. It gives a very mild exfoliation and it leaves a slight film on the skin. However, after you towel dry, this residue disappears. It does leave the skin feeling soft, but not smooth. It also does not remove makeup. I always double up with an exfoliater to ensure that I remove all traces of makeup, but this product does not do that for me. I guess it will work okay in my morning routine, because it is so gentle and I don't really need anything heavy duty, but I generally don't exfoliate in the am. I love that the beads are of a good size so they actually serve their purpose of getting rid of dead skin cells perfectly. I've used exfoliants before with beads so tiny and soft that it seemed they were there for just decorative purposes and nothing else. I love how smooth and refreshed this scrub leaves my skin and that it doesn't irritate it dry out my skin at all . Well I used it for about a week and slogged it through to use it for a month. It has a convenient packaging where you can squeeze out the perfect amount. The Pro's Smells amazing and it does not dry out the skin so no tightness or dry feeling after you use this product It a gelly substance which goes on smoothly except for the scrubbing beads but the gel by itself just leaves the skin super soft and supple which I LOVE!! The Con the scrubbing BEADS for me is way too big, if the beads were smaller i could use it daily but i have to use this product every other day or so since the beads are quiet big and will leave the skin feeling sensitive no matter how soft you massage, which was my only pet peeve. overall I did enjoy the product except for the beads, I personally would not use it again since there are other scrubs far better and will give me the same results with a cheaper price tag. I am a Nivea fan but with this scrub i found i did not like it at all only because of those massive beads. So I think it’s fair to say I’m somewhat of an expert on exfoliators. Personally I prefer granular exfoliators, that really make it feel as though I’m giving my skin a good scrub. I don’t, however, want my skin to feel dried out or squeaky clean after use. The Nivea Daily Essentials Skin Refining Scrub ticks all the right boxes for me.
