I was immediately drawn to the Lake Moss Trio because of the gorgeous dark colours and at only R120 was a really great price. The trio consists of three deep, smokey colours with a little coloured shimmer. There is a deep blackened plum colour with a reddish shimmer, second colour is a blackened navy with a deep blue shimmer and a tiny amount of glitter and lastly there is a blackened green colour with golden greenish shimmer and a lot of golden glitter. The shades are very pigmented but can be used wet to intensify the colour. I used this palette as crease and liner shadows for colourful smokey eyes. There is some fall out during application especially the shades with glitter in them but a good eyeshadow base can help reduce it.
