The smell (because I cannot call something so unpleasant a scent) is what really put me off. I cannot describe it, it just did not gel with my senses. Also, it leaves behind a very oily residue, I suppose that is why it aids with wrinkles. Even though I would only leave this on my skin for about half a minute, it stung and I could not wait to follow up with my face wash. I do not recommend this for anyone who has an oily / a sensitive skin. It is a really rough cloth that even when lightly wiped on the face it feels scratchy and leaves the skin sensitive and sore. It also fails to properly remove mascara - all the types I have and even , on an irrateted late night, rubbing really hard on my eyes to get mascara off leaft my eyes sore and with racoon eyes! I bought this two weeks ago and have since stop using it.
