It is pretty thick, but I do find that after about 5 minutes it absorbs, which is around the time you have to wait before applying your primer anyschways. The calming sensation that it gives to your skin is almost unreal. It also leaves you with that choc choc glow. Your skin feels plump & hydrated and it works fantastic under makeup. The scent is also quite calming with botanical & earthy notes. You can really smell the ingredients in this one ! Great hydration and no irritation, so it performs as promised. I particularly loved the serum, as I don't always like a heavier moisturiser, and sometimes just use the serum on its own. The smell was light and fresh - a bit like cucumber, and the texture was great - absorbed immediately, and left my skin feeling clam and hydrated. I liked the fact that the packaging is made from renewable resources.
