It is a perfect dark brown and can literally replace black for a softer hence natural look. The pencil is a lot shorter but chubbier than usual. The stem of the pencil is also a lot bigger but it still allows to apply the line very close to the lashes. It is extremely creamy and never tugs on the lids. It is very blendable- it can easily be smoked out with a brush. This pencil is great as a base for a smokey eye to go underneath eye shadow very close to the lashes. The only, though a big con for me is that it doesn't stay long. It somehow disappears thoughout the day.
