The task seems impossible, and although I was holding out hope for this product (I am a huge fan of Revlon), it hasn't lived up to my expectations, unfortunately. While I love the colour (I usually go with a black-brown shade to match my brown liner for day wear), I often have to scrape off the excess product at the edge of the bottle, or it ends up clumping my lashes. Not ideal. What I really want is a mascara whose wand comes out perfectly ready for application, but I'm beginning to think a mascara like that is elusive. I have to admit that my lashes do look amazing with this mascara, no smudging, no running, no clumping, it looks natural, and my lashes are fuller and longer. My only gripe comes in with the fact that I didn't know it was waterproof, and I am not a fan of waterproof mascara, it is a nightmare to get off and pulls my lashes out, no matter what I use to aid (makeup remover, anything). I personally think it is a pretty good mascara, my lashes seemed longer and thicker. And the price I paid was around R70, so very happy with my purchase. This spaced out my lashes well enough to keep them looking as natural as possible. I really like the formula It smudged a little below my eye, but I might have caused it with my pre-assignment nap time.
