But a few weeks ago my mother dropped off the starlit black one confusing it with my regular eyeliner. I have to admit when I first opened it and saw all the glittery particles, I was really disappointed because my experience with these types of eye makeup is disastrous. The glitter sits in my eye causing irritation and it affects my vision since I wear contact lenses. So for me to be saying that I actually ended up loving this eyeliner is a huge deal. I had none of the above mentioned problems, just a smooth, soft medium black sparkly eye that looked really good. I have noticed that the staying power is not as good as the original black eyeliner that I used, but the smudging is minimal. It is quite soft for a waterproof liner which makes it a dream to apply, but it is still quite long lasting. I usually finish my eyeliner pencils within 3-4 months so it can get quite expensive buying R100+ liners. This eyeliner pencil was R58.95 which in my opinion is a great price for the quality of the product. I really like the formula of this product. The liner is very soft and doesn’t tug on your skin when you apply it. The colour is also quite intense so you don’t have to keep running the liner over and over again. This product is waterproof, but I would say that it maintains 90% colour intensity throughout the day, which isn’t bad at all. I really like pencils that have a smudgy end as well because it allows you to smudge the liner for that extra smokey look. It is an excellent liner. I love the fact that it is so creamy and spreads easily without dragging my lids. Despite being creamy it doesn't smudge or disappear as the day goes by. I love my automatic pencils - they are so practical. Even though they can be sharpened, I just use mine as is to create a thicker line that I just smoke out.
