If you look at the lipstick under direct sun you can kind of see some pink shimmer (not very dense more like irridescence) but on the lips it is a medium brown nude that it totally matte. I own a few nude lipsticks but this tone is one of the most flattering. This is due to the fact that this brown doesn't have any orange tints. It is a cool perfectly neutral pinky brown and that makes it wearable for most skin tones and also with most makeup looks. The colour gets thumbs up from me... Now lets get to the smell. It is very unpleasant - very plasticky or play dough kind of smell. It really smells unnatural and it sucks because lips are very close to the nose and one can't help but pick that up... I also find this lipstick very drying despite the fact that the range is meant to be moisturising. Even with a lip balm underneath, my lips start to feel uncomfortable after some time. In doesn't really bother me in hot weather, but in winter it can make lips look more chalky...
