I recently attended a wedding for which my nails were done. As I am not a big "nail person" (short nails, clear nail polish), I did not fully appreciate the damage to be caused after I took off the tips myself after a week when 3 broke... My nails were in a terrible condition and VERY thin and brittle. I decided to use this brand in the hopes that miracles can indeed be achieved. Now, I'm not so sure about Sally's "Up to 70% Thicker in 4 Days!" statement, but after two weeks my nails are in a MUCH better condition and are even longer than normal. I have however really put some effort into the re-applying part (you have to do it for 4 days, remove and then repeat). The only down side is that it takes quite some time to completely dry (it initially appears to quickly dry, but is in fact not completely dry). It also tends to make some small bubbles and comes off quite easily. This did not bother me greatly as even despite this my nails look better than without it (i think its the "thicker" part). I would recommend this if you are like me not a very fussy nail person (I think "proper" nail people may have problems with the small bubbles and using it as a base coat) or have very damaged nails. In the meantime I'm going to look for another similar Sally product that could maybe dry faster.
