I love that it doesn’t have that white tinge or thickness that some sun protection lip products have. It gives the slight tingly feeling that softlips is known for. It glides on very smoothly, and leaves a slight sheen on the lips, and you don’t need to apply much for your lips to feel soft. It is not very moisturising, and I wouldn’t recommend it for dry lips. I love the smell of the French vanilla, the strawberry sherbet has a very slight smell and doesn’t really impress me. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for summer, and to those people who don’t have dry lips. It also works as a great base for gloss or lipstick as it gives a smooth surface. It’s also a perfect size to fit into tiny bags or tiny pockets. The protectant is in a slim tube which is smooth on application and doesn't coat the lips heavily. The SPF 20 is great for days out in summer and i even wear it under lipstick. Here is the verdict: The fragrance of this little guy is an incredible vanilla. When you apply it to your lips it litraly glides on like melted butter. There is menthol in this flavour with leaves a refreshing tingle and coolness on your lips which is fantastic for summer if you have had too much sun. While this product smells amazing and feels really good on your lips, I did find that I had to reapply it often to keep my lips feeling moisturised. I feel that this lip balm will be a better summer product as I dont find it moisturising enough for the dryness caused by the winter weather. It also feels very light on and offers a SPF 20.
