I found that it had the perfect mix of exfoliating seeds in it to make it effective at removing dead skin while still being gentle on my skin. The weather has turned to cold and dry here in Joburg and I can feel my skin change too. It has become drier and itchy and in desperate need for moisture. This body butter is perfect for quenching the thirst of my skin. It has a divine cherry aroma. I find it so comforting in this weather as it smells like dessert. The cream comes in a tub and has a dark pink colour to it. The butter is very smooth, feels like thick lotion and spreads very easily. It is not super absorbent but I actually like to feel something left on the skin - it is like a protecting barrier. I wouldn't recommend using it in summer - I think it will feel a bit sticky. I bought this a while ago, so I've been using it quite a bit and it's permanently in my shower. I love the scent of this. I prefer the scent of the scrub to the body butter. In my opinion it's more cherry like. I also adore the consistency of this scrub, its all gooey and thick. The hard bits that do most of the exfoliating are kiwi seeds and crushed walnut shells. The combination is delicious. I don't necessarily think this scrub does the best job at exfoliating dry skin, but I can't resist the smell and texture of it. It definitely leaves your skin feeling soft, but like I said not scrubbed. I use this in combination with my body shop mitt or my loofah and that helps stimulates the skin. The scrubbiness is medium but it really does the job. The smell is absolutely divine. My husband always raves about it when I call him to help me scrub my back :-). The tub will last you for quite a while ( I have had my previous one for at least 6 months using it every week). It is best to follow up with you Wild Cherry body butter to nourish the skin. It works really well without drying out or being harsh on the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and silky and the slight tingly feeling makes me feel really "clean'. It has a lovely cherry scent. So definitely not for ladies that don't like fruity scents.
