It dries my hair without using too much heat due to the adjustable settings. It leaves my hair smooth and manageable. I also use this dryer on weaves as well. This is a fantastic dryer which is only let down by the attachments (the Afro pik & professional concentrator) which do not attach securely onto the dryer.
