The short bristles allows for easy and controllable application of make up. The color and styling is very funky and because of the soft bristles the application is very effective but soft on the eye which is perfect!I tend to find that dabbing a second color onto the first instead of stroking movements work a lot better.

Where do I start? It is meant for eyeshadow application but it is so stiff that I find it totally impossible to apply anything with it. It has very short stubby synthetic bristles in purple color. Because the bristles are so stiff, they don't seem to bend at all. How do you apply eyeshadow with a brush that just stands straight? Also, because it is so stiff it becomes almost sharp at the point and is very rough for the eye area...For smudging eyeshadow on the lower lash line - again way too stiff for that. The only thing I could think of doing withit is applying my cream liner but then the brush is too thick and rounded for that. So now I was stuck with a useless brush but then I saw on the packaging of another UBU brush that they give a quality guarantee and take them back at any time...I decided to take advantage of that and took it straight back to Clicks... Not recommended!
