I actually gave the angled brush to my sister in law, as I already had one and she loves it! This trio of brushes offers three essential eye brushes, and is perfect for beginners who are just venturing into eye makeup. The winning brush out of this set is the tapered blending brush. I have somewhat deepset eyes with a rather large eyelid, so this brush's tapered point gets right into my crease and works well to distribute shadow all over my lid because it is also quite fluffy. I also love the smudger brush, although the hairs are somewhat stiff. It functions as a pencil brush, and works well for detailing. The eye defining brush is an extremely thin eyeliner brush that is perfect for creating very sharp wings, but may not work as well for creating a thick line across your lashline because it is so thin. That is pretty much what I have found with this lovely Smokey Eyeshadow Brush set from UBU Cosmetics. The set comes with 3 different brushes - a wide eyeshadow brush for general eyeshadow application to the eyelid; a tapered eyeliner brush for lining the upper eyelid; and a small blending brush that is perfect for applying darker shades to the outer and inner corners of your eyes. The brush bristles are made of synthetic material which means that don't really absorb the eyeshadows. They pick up and transfer eyeshadow rather well and are very easy to clean after use. The handles are made of thick light-weigh plastic that makes it very easy to control the application of your eyeshadows.
