It was a love at first sight moment. My mom bought her the big bottle with vouchers that she had and paid about R450 for the bottle as it is quite expensive. I love this perfume because it has a clean and refreshing smell which doesn't irritate my nose because I'm one of those unfortunate sinus sufferers. This bottle also has a very glamorous appearance which makes me feel like I'm a lady of leisure :). When wearing this perfume, it is long lasting and I receive many compliments from both sexes. So I do not have the full size. Its still great though as the sample sizes are enough to use over about 4 days. As most of you who have read my perfume reviews, the first thing that catches my eye when shopping for perfumes is the appearance. I am not too impressed with this one. It is a pretty plain and simple bottle which isn't anything to brag about. The bottle top is the only thing with a bit of flair. I assume it is meant to look like a Yellow Diamond, but really it doesn't. Im not sure what to make of it. The notes of the perfume however are as follows: - Top Notes comprise mainly of Pear sorbet, Bergamot, Neroli and Orange blossom - Middle Notes comprise mainly of Freesia and Mimosa - Base Notes comprise mainly of Woods and Musk Extremely heavy scent, and I do not like musky perfumes at all. I guess that is why I dont have a full size of this. At Edgars Red Squaure the pricing is as follows: - 30ml R640 - 50ml R905 - 80ml R1,115 Since it is a designer fragrance, the prices are very steep. If you like musky scents, go for it. They both share my number one spot. I agree with Lihle, When a fragrance smells this amazing, price really doesnt matter! LUCKY for me, my brother in-law brought me a 90ml bottle from Dubai, It was love on first whiff... I cant describe the notes, but It has incredible staying power, i find the scent to be complexed, but in a good way, its extremely seductive and very empowering! I bought Versace yellow diamond last year and I still can't stop being crazy over this fragrance. It definitely turns heads and gets by passers doing the matrixx just to stay captivated by its smell. When I bought it it was on promotion which came with two Versace bags and a Versace yellow diamond body lotion. Now what could a girl ask for after all of that?! You would expect this fragrance to be all up in your face but surprisingly the intensity of its smell is "perfecto" (said with an Italian accent) I loved the packaging, surely who ever did the packaging had a picture of themselves in mind giving it as a gift to a woman where they waited for a long deep kiss as a sign of appreciation. No doubt I will buy it again sometime. I love the subtle airy floral fragrance. The yellow colour and the bottle shape also really unique. Wear that special sexy outfit, with just a touch of Versace Yellow Diamond behind the ears and lower neck line. It is expensive at R730 for 50 ml, but really worth it.
