The products that I used before Vichy was not that effective and was getting extremely expensive. I was a bit worried I wont see any results with this serum. When i opened it, it smelled wonderful!! (Clean, fresh - purely amazing) I started using in the mornings after my toner and night and can honestly say, my skin feels soft and rejuvenated! The packaging is fantastic – absolutely gorgeous!! I love the simplicity of it all and how easy it to dispense the product. After 10 days skin felt tighter and plumper. I never thought my skin was dehydrated but I was clearly wrong as it soaked up all the hyaluronic acid and left my skin feeling more nourished and comfortable. My skin feels velvety and nourished. I think I can go without any kind of coverage now (THAT IS HOW CONFIDENT I FEEL)! My colleagues have complimented me on radiant I look. I wanted to really put the serum to the test, so I only used it after cleansing my face…no face moisturizer on top. I feel refreshed, my skin is not dry and itchy (note that I have eczema). The dark patches on my cheeks have visibly disappeared. I am pleased with the progress thus far and would recommend the serum to all the ladies out there. I've been applying VICHY LIFTACTIV SERUM 10 SUPREME twice daily for ten days now, and I'm pleased with the results so far... 1. RADIANCE My skin looks more fresh, radiant and glowy, and less fatigued - even on minimal sleep (I mentioned in my last review post that I'm a new mama and average 5 hours a night!). 2. HYDRATION My complexion feels soft and looks dewy; it seems to be retaining moisture better throughout the day. 3. EVEN TONE My freckles, dark patches and other signs of pigmentation appear to have faded slightly, and skin tone looks brighter. 4. SMOOTHNESS The crinkles around my eyes and laugh lines around my mouth and nose haven't gone anywhere, but they're definitely not as pronounced. 5. FIRMNESS My complexion feels 'springier' and more elastic. It has more bounce, and feels more pillowy. Other observations: *My daily moisturiser glides on perfectly after applying the serum, but other products (like sunscreen and foundation) don't adhere well at all, and seem to rub off or flake. I have a feeling it might be a sign that the product is working and helping to shed tired skin cells... *The formulation agrees with my super-sensitive complexion, but I have noticed very tiny bumps and blocked pores appearing under the skin. This could be hormone related though... *The dropper looks great but doesn't quite dispense enough product for one application. I need at least 3-4 drops to cover the areas that need the serum most, while the dropper only dispenses one. TO SUM UP: I love that the serum is gently transforming my skin. I'm not expecting a radical change as that products that work that kind of magic usually contain nasty chemicals and invoke ugly side-effects, but I am thrilled with the subtle glow and softening of signs of aging so far, and look forward to seeing more positive changes in the next couple of weeks. First, I just want to discuss the dropper. I feel that it does not pick up enough product. I need 4 drops to cover my entire face and neck area. Sadly, it only dispenses 3 drops :( Also, it did make me break out, but I never let that discourage me. This is normal for my skin type. I always react to new products and so I don't just discontinue use - I simply wait it out until my skin has adjusted. Now that that's out of the way - we can get to the good stuff :) I tested this serum with liquid foundation, powder foundation and bb cream. I also tested it with primers and moisturisers and I am very happy to report that all applications layered very well. I did not experience any separation of any kind. My skin definitely firms up and my redness definitely reduces after applying this serum. I also look and feel radiant after many hours of wear. Finally, I am super impressed with how much my under eye fine lines and wrinkles have reduced! Although I have oily skin, my under eye area is desert dry. I have never been able to apply powder of any kind on this area until now. I hope you found the above information helpful. I cannot wait to update you after 1 month of use.
