I recently purchased a small jar of flocking powder by the brand WOW cosmetics. Firstly the colour caught my attention as it is a beautiful deep pink perfect for summer.
The trick with velvet manicures is that you need a polish that is almost exactly the same colour as the powder to get the best results. I used Tip Tops "Pinkasso" and it was a perfect match.
While your nail polish is very wet dip your finger into the flocking powder. make sure the whole nail is covered before removing. Thats it.
I must say that this flocking powder is not the best quality. I'm sure if you bought a pack of Martha Stewart flocking powder it would work better.
Overall this is a great inexpensive nail art powder you could buy if you are not sure about velvet manicures. That way, if you don't like it you wont have to feel guilty about spending lots of money.
