I don't get a matte finish with this cream and find it a bit too heavy to use under my make-up, so i use it at night. It helps clear up any redness. I also use it on my upper back in summer, since I'm prone to breakout there when the weather is super hot. While it isn't my everyday cream, I always like having it on hand for its skin calming effect.
