I agree with Lindiwe! Prior to trying out these products, I also thought/assumed they were for older women. Okay, maybe I'm in denial that perhaps I'm in fact now an older woman myself (although it's hard when you feel 22 inside but your skin doesn't lie and feels 34!)
I must say, i enjoyed and am still enjoying this serum - I do think it has minimised dark spots especially on my forehead. I will continue to use it especially as we head into summer with all the lovely sunshine.
The serum is light and easily absorbed. Smells great. Feels great.

So judging from my first impression, I would say I've remained equally as pleased with the clarins serum. I've found that the texture and glide of the serum is all it took to win me over, I do however feel like my moisturizer had to be applied immediately after application of the serum as it had not completely hydrated my face.

Been using this Clarins serutm for 4 weeks now and I can say my complexion has improved. As for dark marks or pigmentation its not helping. But I'm happy as my complexion is now brighter.

I received the package, just started using it today. The package is so attractive. The bottle look expensive. I like the fact that it has some sort of a pump so that I pour the small amount I need for my face. The serum has a nice scent, not strong. I will have to use it maybe for a week then I will see if its brightens my face. I will attach my before pic.. Even though my phone is not clear.

This is my first time using Clarins products so I have no idea what to expect as I don't know anything about their products. I love the packaging and the pump means one doesn't use more than they need to even though it doesn't say how much you need to pump out but after using it for 2 days I realised 3 pumps is enough for both my face and neck. This serum has a scent. It is not over bearing so if you don't like scented face products, don't be put off because it disappears very quickly. I absolutely love how quickly the serum is absorbed and it moisturizes but does not leave your face looking oily. That's a major plus. As for the brightening aspect, I guess I will have to use it a little longer to see noticeable results.

My first impression of this serum was a good one. Packaging is a deal breaker for me and this serum comes in a lightweight, professional, pump dispenser bottle and I really like the "cleanliness" look of the product. The product is released effortlessly from the pump although one downside is that I found there are no instructions on the bottle to tell you how much product is enough per application.
The texture of the serum is nice and light and very smooth. It also has a nice scent to it which is a plus. Once applied to your face, your skin is silky smooth and very soft.
I really like this serum so far but will have to see if the results are worth it after a few days.

The package is perfect with a easy to press pump dispenser. I am also very impressed with the design and colours of the bottle. The scent is beautifully refreshing but I prefer non-scented products for my face. The texture is very light and quickly absorbed into my skin.

So a first look at the packaging it is so simple, yet somehow I find simplicity is best. I do think that the information they have on the package and the information on the leaflet found on the inside of the package should somehow swap so that you can read more about the product when interested to buy the product.
I do like the pump dispenser as every counts and none can get wasted by having to squish the bottle or anything.
Both the texture and fragrance is so light, my skin didn't feel like I just put on a mask as some serums make you feel and that is what I like about a serum that can be used day and/or night!
Overall I am already pleased with the product, but will later on see what results I get!

What I like about the packaging first of all is that it's very simple and clean (almost medicinal/clinical looking) which certainly instills confidence in the product being effective. It also makes me feel all grown up - now that I am 34 and can use 'real' skincare products because I have 'real' skin issues - like pigmentation. Immediately after cleansing, I applied the serum and enjoyed the pump-dispenser. I actually squeezed out a little extra after the first bit as i felt my skin needed more although maybe i just have greedy little pores! I found the smell refreshing and it reminded me of a gentle baby-powder fragrance. It went onto my skin beautifully and smoothly and felt great. So let's see how the next few weeks go! (For now I have only rated 3 for effectiveness as it's too soon to tell)

Clarins is a brand known for effective products that work.despite this i invested in the entire range knowing this to be a trusted brand.
Firstly its gentle a pleasure to use and comes in a hygienic pump dispenser.
Its suitable for sensitive skin.
However my facial pigmentation came up post pregnancy and after use of this entire range at significant cost for a year i believe for me there were no demonstrable results.
