I bought this is the shade caramel about 2 years ago when I started wearing makeup, it is a very good start up foundation.The coverage is just flawless it does last all day however the shade range is so limited that which is very dissapointing because this shade would leave me with an orange tint. And I have excessively oily skin so I would have to blot a lot throughout the day so if you have super oily skin you might want to stay away. But I would definitely recommend this foundation if it matches your skin and you have normal/combination skin.

I have been using Essence foundations for years. For the price point, I find this foundation provides good coverage, it's lightweight on the skin and buildable. It does not clog my pores and I don't break out, even if I sleep in my makeup. I have re-purchased this a few times now. Great everyday foundation, one of my beauty bag staples. It is not as long wearing as it claims to be but with a primer and setting powder, you can really stretch it's longevity.
The shades can be a bit hit and miss, I find that at times I may need to add some yellow corrector to counter its pinky undertone but it really depends on the time of year, my exposure to the sun, etc.

No, just no. I recently picked this up and I am not impressed.
I got the lightest shade 010 soft beige and let me tell you - it is anything but soft / beige. Fair skin girls would not be able to pull this off.
When I applied it, it was fine, but as my day went on it became darker and took on a very orange tone.
The coverage is not great. The lasting power is not great - about 4 hours at best. It also transfers like crazy.
The price is good and if they decide to bring out lighter shades, I may give this another go and pair it with good oil controlling products.
At this stage though, I am just not a fan.

I bought this a long while back, as you can see from the uploaded pic, today I used it after ages and wondered why I ever stopped using it. It's an amazing foundation, here are some of its attributes :

So if it wasn't for my want of variety ,I would definitely use this everyday .

This is truly an amazing foundation to have. It gives you a very natural smooth appearance so you don’t look like you’re wearing a ton of make-up. This foundation blends very well which means no dark lines and you are left with a silky smooth complexion.
This Essence stay all day 16h long lasting foundation comes in a dispenser bottle, which eliminates any mess and it is easy to squeeze the right amount of product out. It also owns up to the description of a long lasting make-up, seeing that it lasts all day long and it doesn't leave you looking dull halfway through the day.

Probably the cheapest and the nicest foundation I have come across, in a while. I love Essence. Although their ranges target-market are aimed at the teens, they really do produce the best make up at the right price. And, if it doesn't work for you, at least you don't feel bad about giving away make up that didn't cost you an arm and a leg :)
This foundation smells great, doesn't clog the pores, and applies easily. One thing you need to make sure is that your skin is super moisturized before applying this foundation, because it does have a tendency to make dry patches VERY noticeable.
