This week on Art meets Makeup TV. I show you a fool proof way to apply eye shadow using only 3 eye shadows and a few brushes. Perfect for beginners! Step 1: Highlight your eyes using a shimmer or pearl neutral eye shadow by applying to your eyelids, brow bone and inner corners. Step 2: Create dimension to your eyes by using a matte brown eye shadow along the crease areas of your eyes and lower lash line. Then defuse the shade by blending away harsh edges. Step 3: Intensify the outer corners of your eyes with the same matte brown eye shadow. By using a sideways V shape motion. Here you also have the added option to darken under the eyes if you're heading out at night. Step 4: Buff over all your shadows very lightly to create a softer look. Step 5: Create the perfect black liner by using a matte black eye shadow and an angled brush. Blend once more. Step 6: Curl eyelashes, apply your mascara and you're done :) I hope this really helps you.
