I have naturally curly hair that is prone to frizz. Therefore, when using heat styling, I need to protect my hair from the harsh effects of heat damage. The Tresemme heat defence spray has definitely helped in protecting my hair. The bottle of heat spray has also lasted quite long. so definitely value for money! However, this is also dependent on how often you heat style your hair.

My go-to heat defence spray, it has a great scent and definitely helps protect my hair when I blow-dry or straighten. I love the little travel size bottle. I have noticed that my hair tends to become oily a day sooner when I use the spray, but I do also struggle with my hair getting oily faster than the average woman and know that adding product to my hair speeds up that process. Definitely still a product I'm happy to purchase and use multiple times a week.

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of heat defense sprays in SA - this one is fab though!
Doesn't leave hair sticky, sprays evenly.

This heat defence mist is an essential part of my Hair routine - I do not go without it when using my straightener, it is effective and smells wonderful. Helps with any frizz too!

I found that it really protects my hair when I use heat to style it. It allows me to style my hair a whole lot more while preventing the damage it causes. I love this product and if you're looking for a good heat defense i would seriously recommend

Using tools, like hair straighteners, really damage your hair. This product really helps with reducing the amount of damage caused by these tools. The product has a lovely fragrance. The solution is lightweight and does not leave your hair feeling sticky. This product is not travel-friendly. It leaks whilst in your suitcase, which could ruin your belongings.

I quite like this product and can see what the hype is all about.
The formula is really nice. It does not leave my hair feeling sticky / oily and it does not weigh my hair down.
It is very light weight and has a pleasant scent. I do want to mention that it is a tad pricey in my opinion.
The packaging is quite cheap and there is nothing luxurious about it. I like the juice, but for the price- I would have liked a better pump.
Still worth a try though...

I bought this product after starting my natural hair journey. I'm a 4c hair type with low porosity hair and it tends to get split ends easily. I was always using heat on my hair and I was starting to get scared of heat damage so I purchased this product from Clicks and would use it when doing a tension blowout.
This product is bomb for the following reasons:
1. No build up. A lot of serums and sprays tend to feel a bit greasy. The formula in this protectant is so light and avoids that.
2. Non-drying. After using this and applying heat on my hair, my hair still felt moisturised and soft.
3. It's affordable. Clicks currently has a it on special at R63.95 for 300ml and you can always get a smaller bottle 100ml for R29.95 so everyone can afford it.
4. This product gets 10 bonus points because it smells nice :)

A must have product!
As ladies we don't tend to understand the damage we cause our hair when we heat style . How often have we sat at the salon and endured the critic from our stylist . When being your own hair stylist and can't seem to make your way to the salon, do yourself a favour and try out Tresemme heat defense. So far I have not been disappointed and it smells great too.

I love using this before curling or straightening my hair. It doesnt make my hair look oily and greasy and gives a good finish to it.

This is the product that Ive being using the last year and I've also bought the curl & iron product as well.
Its a huge bottle which give you value for your money and since I don't heat style my hair every day I get quite far with one bottle. I do have very thin fragile hair which shows heat styling very quick, I have found this product to protect as it claims and to also leave me with less fly-away hair afterwards. It also leave your hair with a shine than make your hair look healthy.
I do recommend to stay with the directed amount to use as it kind of make your hair sticky and limp when you overuse.

As a young lady always trying to look good all the time means good hair, good hair comes with the toll of applying heat on the regular.
I use this spray atleast once a week, seems to make your hair shiny, and smells great!
The price range isn't going to make a hole in your pocket and the easy spray on saves time on busy mornings.

Its so very important to use a heat protection spray if you always use a hair drier or flattening iron on your hair.
Its important because you can damage and break your hair by putting it under so much concentrated heat. Your hair also loose a lot of moisture during the drying and ironing process.
This spray gives your hair extra vitamins to lock in the moisture to keep your hair hydrated, soft and silky smooth. It doesn't leave that sticky feeling on your fingers and hair, that some hair protection products do.
The packaging is nice. I prefer the handbag size spritz bottle to the large gun-type spray. I always seem to break those gun-type sprays and then I have to decant the spray into a normal spritz bottle. Thats why I prefer the smaller handbag size version of this product.
The price is definitely affordable, its always available at all the major retailers.

I never really understood the importance nor need for using a heat defense spay until I started using one myself.
I have extremely dry and damaged hair and have never used any heat protectant sprays and then I finally decided to buy one when learning about how important they are in a beauty chat.One of these heat protectant sprays I bought was the Tresemme Heat Defense Spray, I have been using it for weeks just before I start to blow dry my hair.
Tresemme claims ” it to helps protect hair from damage while blow drying and heat styling. Contains a heat activated complex to help protect hair when drying and straightening.Helps prevent hair becoming brittle and dull, with continued use prevents up to 82% breakage.”
Here’s what I have to say about the Tresemme Heat Defense Spray: Firstly I do find it to help protect my hair from straightening which I do every do, my hair does look less drying and damaged then when I don’t use my Tresemme Heat Defense Spray. My split ends also seems to be less noticeable which is probably because my hair doesn’t look as dry. One thing I have disagree with Tresemme’s claim, in my opinion I find that it does make my hair look dull and lifeless, which then forces me to use another product to make it look shinny which I really don’t want to do. I am not a fan of using lots of hair products because it makes my hair super oily and means I have to wash it often and my hair looses all it’s nutrients. This spray l found lasts really long I have used it a few weeks if not months and it fells like I’ve hardly used it at all, it’s also super affordable I got mine for R79.99 at Clicks. I love the fact that this spray doesn’t leave my hair sticky at all, I have used another heat protectant before and found that it made my hair super sticky which made me want to wash it all over again…

I always use heat defence spray on my hair.This tresemme version is one of my regulars. It has a lovely fruity scent and leaves my hair soft. Even with my long hair, it quite literally lasts forever.

I got given a bottle for free - which is always a bonus!
I used it and loved the fresh fruity smell, which really lasts.
I tend to straighten and blow my hair quite often and it gets really static. But with the heat defence styling spray, i can straighten with confidence knowing that my hair is going to be protected!
The trigger nozzle is a brilliant idea and so much easier to maneuver whilst busy.
I also find it is not sticky like other styling products.
It also helps with the frizz and keeps my hair in style.
Love the shine my hair has with it.
I used it and loved the fresh fruity smell, which really lasts.

I started using this product at the beginning of the year after I noticed that constant blow drying and flat ironing was leaving my hair dry and damaged at the ends. After getting my hair cut I decided that I needed a product to protect my hair from all the heat styling it was exposed to. A little internet search led me to this product. It cost me R59.99 for a 300ml bottle with a trigger pump dispenser.
This product really does work, I've had no more split ends since I've started using it. It smells fresh and fruity and gives a light hold after styling. It reduces frizziness and fly aways after flat ironing but does not leave any stickiness or oily residue. You don't need much product at a time so the bottle last quite a few months depending on the length and thickness of your hair. I still use a silicone serum for shine afterwards as this product doesn't give a gloss to your hair.
